COW ,BY ORLANDO VICENTE I wrote on my blog a few months ago "A Cow on a Cuban Beach" that summarized the hunger that the people went through in the middle of a special period. A young cow appeared swimming near the shore and everyone - there were many people because of the suffocating heat in the provincial city - scared her away with screams so that she could drown and thus take advantage of the beef that had disappeared from the Cuban butchers. Some young people even jumped into the sea, knife in hand, to see who were the first to stop the ruminant and slaughter it right there.
